Description

A clumping grass with soft, blue-green foliage and plumes from April will into fall. 2-3 ft tall and 4 ft tall. Flowers start out pink and dry to an attractive tan color. One of the longest-blooming fountain grasses and one of the first to bloom in the spring. Can be left alone or cut back in winter to freshen the look of newly emerging leaves. Not sterile, but does not reseed readily. Reaches full size with regular water, grows smaller but still attractive under drier conditions.
